The first progress meeting of the EU H2020-MCSA-ITN-EJD network “Perspectives For Future Innovation in Tendon repair (P4FiT)” took place on 24th March 2022 in Groningen, NL, hosted by project coordinator Prof. Helder Santos. The PhD students on this project, Florencia Diaz, Francesco Iorio, Seyma Sereflioglu and Sara Gil Cantero (main home institution: Medical University Vienna) (pictured) attended the meeting in-presence. Prof. Boccaccini (FAU principal investigator on this project) attended online. This was the first in-presence meeting of the P4FIT consortium since its start in 2021. A fundamental goal of P4 FIT is to build a new generation of early stage researchers with adequate skills to explore non-conventional therapeutic and diagnostic approaches to tendon repair based on the latest technological advances in biomaterials and nanomedicine.
