Representing our Institute, Dr. Rainer Detsch and PhD students Ms. Susanne Heid, Mr. Jonas Röder, and Ms. Hsuan-Heng Lu participated at the Biofabrication Conference 2022 (ISBF)  held in Montecatini Terme, Italy, on 25-28 September 2022. Dr. Rainer Detsch and Ms. Susanne Heid gave oral presentations with the title of ‘Processing and chemical modifications of alginate-based bioinks for DoD applications’ and ‘ADA-GEL-BIF composite bioinks: Development, characterization, rheological modelling, 3D bioprinting and dynamic perfusion in an inline printed bioreactor’, respectively. Additionally, Ms. Hsuan-Heng Lu presented a poster on ‘Advances in the design of composite bioinks based on ADA-GEL and bioactive inorganic fillers’. The four members of our institute and many collaborators from Erlangen, Bayreuth and Würzburg also represented the SFB/TRR 225 project and had active participation at the ISBF 2022.
