The meetings of the Management Committee and the Board of the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS) took place on 21-22 November in Frankfurt and in hybrid format, hosted by the German Materials Society (DGM) . Prof. Boccaccini, currently vice-president of FEMS, attended both meetings. One important topic on the agenda was the organization of the next EUROMAT 2023 conference, to be held in Frankfurt, Germany, on 03 – 07 September 2023. FEMS EUROMAT is the premier international congress in the field of materials science and technology in Europe.
