Prof. Boccaccini chaired the IV. Scientific Symposium of the Network of Argentinian Scientists (RCAA) in Germany and the RCCA Annual Meeting held in Berlin

Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini chaired the IV. Scientific Symposium of the Network of Argentinian Scientists in Germany Red de Cientificos Argentinos en Alemania, RCAA, and the Annual General Meeting of the RCAA, which were held in hybrid format on 1-2 December 2022. The in-presence meetings took place at the Embassy of Argentina in Berlin. The scientific symposium involved a keynote (invited) presentation and several talks given by RCAA members based both in Germany and Argentina. In addition there were 5 presentations of projects funded by theArgentine-German University Center (CUAA / DAHZ). Prof. Boccaccini is currently the Scientific Coordinator of RCAA. The RCAA was established in Nov. 2009. Prof. Boccaccini was a co-founder of RCAA and member of its Advisory Committee since then. The network focuses on fostering research collaborations and scientific interactions between Germany and Argentina and is part of the “RAICES program”  of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Argentina. The RCAA has more than 190 members, who are scientists from Argentina carrying out research activities in Germany in a broad range of scientific areas, from social sciences to natural sciences and engineering, being based at German Universities, research institutes and industry. The Ambassador of Argentina to Germany, Mr Fernando Brun (pictured with Prof. Boccaccini and RCAA technical coordinator Dr. Flavio Soldera), opened the Annual Meeting of the RCAA welcoming all participants to the Embassy.
