Our participation at BioMAT 2025 in Weimar

Ms Hannah Kissel, Ms Mina Abdolmaleki (PhD students) and Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini attended the 8th European Symposium on Biomaterials and Related Areas (BioMAT 2025), held in Weimar (Germany) on 14-15 May 2025, organised under the auspices of the German Society for Materials Science (DGM). Ms  Abdolmaleki contributed an oral presentation showing results obtained in collaboratoin with colleagues at FunGlass Center, Trencin, Slovakia. Ms Hannah Kissel presented the poster: Lithium-Ion Release from Hybrid Biomaterials for Enhanced Cartilage Regeneration, which was awarded a Best Poster prize (informed separately). Prof. Boccaccini has been a member of the organizing committee of BioMAT conferences since the start of the series in 2011 and our Institute has participated with numerous contributions in the eight editions of the conference.
