Luiza Mirt, PhD student conducting her doctoral research under supervision of Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini in cotutelle with the University Politehnica of Bucharest (Romania) (co-supervisor: Prof. Anton Ficai), received the Special Award at the NeXT-Chem Exploratory Workshop: Cross-Sectoral Innovative Technologies, organized by the National Institute for Research & Development in Chemistry and Petrochemistry – ICECHIM Bucharest, on May 22–23 in Romania. She was awarded for her presentation entitled “Ion-Modified Mesoporous Nanomaterials For Enhanced Bone Tissue Regeneration“. For this contribution, she received the Raluca Ianchiș Special Award, a distinction which recognizes promising research in the field of biomaterials. Well done!
