Prof. Athina E. Markaki from the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge, UK, was the invited speaker at the Materials Science Kolloquium Summer Term 2025, at the FAU Department of Materials Science and Engineering, hosted by Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini. Prof. Markaki presented the talk:
“Bioengineered Vascular Networks and Grafts”. She met different researchers at the Institute of Biomaterials and discussed topics for collaboration, including, in addition to Prof. Boccaccini, Dr. Rainer Detsch and Prof. Iwona Cicha at SEON, University Hospital Erlangen.
