Summer Term 2025 concludes with traditional Institute BBQ
The end of the Summer Term 2025 was celebrated with the traditional Summer BBQ of the Institute of Biomaterials, held on 23rd July 2025 in Erlangen. The event was well attended by most members of the Institute, including PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, permanent staff, as well as academic visitors and students.
In his welcome speech, Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini emphasized the interdisciplinary and international nature of the Institute. He particularly highlighted the large number of Bachelor’s and Master’s students, along with ERASMUS visiting students, who join the Institute every year on a continuous basis.
Prof. Boccaccini also noted that in the first half of 2025, the Institute’s publications included co-authors from 20 different countries, underscoring the truly international character of our research activities.
