Prof. Boccaccini chairs General Assembly of the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS) in Granada, Spain
As President of the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS), Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini chaired the General Assembly (GA) of FEMS, held at the EUROMAT 2025 conference in Granada, Spain, on 16th September. Representatives of all active national member societies of FEMS attended the GA. Prof. Boccaccini said: “I am truly honored to serve as FEMS President. I had the privilege and responsibility to lead the Federation these last two years. The FEMS GA 2025 was a valuable opportunity to discuss key strategic matters and initiatives of transnational interest that can strengthen the materials science and technology sector in Europe and to further discuss the role of FEMS in the evolving materials science landscape in Europe and the world”.
