Prof. Boccaccini addresses attendees at EUROMAT 2025 Closing Ceremony in Granada, Spain
The 18th European Congress and Exhibition on Advanced Materials and Processes, FEMS EUROMAT 2025 concluded on 18th September with the closing ceremony that included awards for the best posters presented at the conference, as well as the official announcements of the venues for FEMS Junior EUROMAT 2026 (Trikala, Greece) and FEMS EUROMAT 2027 (Graz, Austria).
As President of the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS), Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini warmly thanked EUROMAT 2025 Chair Prof. Rodrigo Moreno and Co-Chair Prof. Anna D. Zervaki, along with the managing committee, scientific committee, symposia organisers, all speakers, and participants. He also extended his gratitude to SOCIEMAT (Sociedad Española de Materiales) for their excellent organisation and warm hospitality, which made EUROMAT 2025 in Granada an unforgettable experience.
Prof. Boccaccini concluded his speech by highlighting the EUROMAT conference series as a key flagship activity of FEMS, bringing together more than 1,800 participants from across Europe to discuss advances and opportunities in materials science and technology. He also stressed the important role that FEMS continues to play in the European materials science landscape.
