Prof. Boccaccini visits University of Granada, Spain
During his recent visit to Granada, Spain, Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini visited University of Granda, where he met Prof. Juan Antonio Marchal, Head of the Chair “Doctors Galera-Requena in cancer stem cell research” at the Department of Human Anatomy and Embryology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Granada, Spain. Prof. Marchal and Prof. Boccaccini are partners in the RISE EU project EngVIPO__ Engineering Vascularized Implants for Personalised Osteochondral Tissue Regeneration: From medical imaging to pre-clinical validation. Prof. Boccaccini said: “it was a fantastic opportunity to visit Prof. Marchal and his team at University of Granada during my stay in the city. We have many complementary expertise and experimental capabilities, so I expect that we will develop strong collaboration between our groups in the contest of the EngVIPO Rise EU project.”
