Prof. Boccaccini chaired the 8th International Conference on Electrophoretic Deposition (EPD 2025) in Cetraro, Italy
The 8th International Conference on Electrophoretic Deposition (EPD 2025), the latest conference of the EPD conference series supported by Engineering Conferences International (ECI), was held on 12.10.25 – 16.10.25 in Cetraro, Italy. Prof. Boccaccini was the Chair of the conference with co-chairs Dr. B. Ferrari (Spain), Dr. A. Pascall (USA) and Dr. F. Grasset (France) and Dr. K. Katagiri (Japan). Dr. Zoya Hadzhieva attended EPD 2025 and gave an oral presentation titled “Chitosan-based coatings containing bioactive glass or silver nitrate on metallic filters by electrophoretic deposition (EPD)” showcasing results obtained in the framework of our participation in the EU project NANOBLOC. Rezvan Azari (PhD student) presented an oral talk and a poster titled “Effect of processing temperature on EPD-derived bioactive composite coatings for metallic implants”. The EPD conference series of ECI was established in 2002 by Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini and colleagues. The next conference of the series will be held in 2028 in a venue (country, continent) not yet decided.
