Good News: Julia Lemos de Oliveira (PhD student) receives Honorable Mention for her poster presentation at 18th Brazilian Polymer Congress (CBPol 2025)
We congratulate Julia Lemos de Oliveira, M. Sc., PhD dual degree student between our Institute (co-supervisor: Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini) at FAU and the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in Brazil. Julia presented the poster titled “ENGINEERING BIOACTIVE 3D SCAFFOLDS: COMBINING PRECISION ARCHITECTURE AND SURFACE FUNCTIONALIZATION FOR TISSUE REGENERATION” at the 18th Brazilian Polymer Congress (CBPol 2025), held in Campos do Jordão, Brazil. She received one of the 18 Honorable Mentions in the PhD category, recognizing the quality and impact of the work presented on bioactive materials and tissue engineering, which is being carried out in collaboration with Dr. Irem Unalan (FAU) and Profs. Ana Paula S. Immich Boemo (UFSC) and Claudia Sayer (UFSC).
