Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini: invited speaker at the Slovak and Czech Glass Conference in Trencin, Slovakia
Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini was an invited speaker at the Slovak and Czech Glass Conference, held on 12-14 November in Trencin, Slovakia, under the topic: Innovation and sustainability in the glass industry. He presented the talk: “Bioactive glasses: From bone regeneration to biofabrication and ionic medicine” in the session “Functional properties of special glasses (biological)”. At this conference, Ms Hannah Kissel, PhD student at the Institute of Biomaterials, presented the poster titled: “Synthesis and Characterization of Lithium-Releasing Mesoporous Bioactive Glass Nanoparticles for Articular Cartilage Repair”.
