Prof. Boccaccini: invited speaker at the Bioengineering Institute of Technology (BIT), International University of Catalonia (UIC) Barcelona
Invited by Prof. Roman Perez Antoñanzas, Vice rector for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer at the International University of Catalonia Barcelona and Director of the Bioengineering Institute of Technology (BIT) at UIC, Prof. Boccaccini visited BIT and presented the lecture: “Ionic Medicine and Biofabrication: Opportunities and Challenges for Bioactive Glasses”. He also visited the laboratories of BIT and discussed possibilities of research collaboration in the field of bioactive materials for tissue engineering with staff members at BIT, UIC Barcelona. The visit took place in connection with the conferment of an honorary doctorate (Dr. h.c.) on Prof. Boccaccini at UIC.
