Hannah Kissel wins best poster award (first prize) at the Slovak and Czech Glass Conference 2025 in Trencin
We are happy to report that Ms. Hannah Kissel, PhD student at the institute of Biomaterials under the supervision of Professor Aldo R. Boccaccini, won the first place of the best poster award competition at the Slovak and Czech Glass Conference 2025, which was held in Trenčín, Slovakia, on 12.-14. November. Hannah presented the results of her doctoral research in ionic medicine, focusing on stimulating cartilage repair through the delivery of biologically active mineral ions using lithium-releasing mesoporous bioactive glass nanoparticles. Well done, Hannah!
