Doctoral thesis success: Lukas Königer
Congratulations to Lukas Königer on successfully defending his doctoral thesis on 2nd December 2025. Lukas carried out his doctoral project at Translational Center Regenerative Therapies (Fraunhofer TLC-RT) of the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicate Research ISC, Würzburg, supervised by Prof. Jan Hansmann, and co-supervised by Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini at the FAU Institute of Biomaterials. Prof. Boccaccini highlighted the innovative character of Lukas’s lab automation project, which provides a significant contribution to the field of automated generation of tissue models for a variety of tissue engineering applications. Many congratulations to Lukas on the successful defense of his doctoral thesis. We wish him all the best in his future career!
