Prof. Boccaccini attended first meeting of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Center for Research in Multiscale Science and Engineering at Polytechnic University of Catalonia
Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini was invited to serve as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) of the Center for Research in Multiscale Science and Engineering (CCEM), a María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain. He attended the first SAB meeting held in Barcelona on 18-19 December 2025 hosted by Prof. Josep Lluís Tamarit (CCEM director) and Prof. María Pau Ginebra (CCEM Scientific Director), pictured with Prof. Boccaccini, and all Center group leaders. There wast also an opportunity to visit the laboratories and experimental facilities available at CCEM. The conducts outstanding collaborative research, development, and innovation in key areas such as micro- and nano-engineering, biomaterials, environmental remediation, and energy harvesting.
