Workshop on project writing and project partner search organised by our Institute for the Baltic Biomaterials Center of Excellence
The Institute of Biomaterials successfully organized a workshop on “Project Writing and Project Partner Search,” held on 16–18 December, as part of its training activities for researchers based at the Baltic Biomaterials Center of Excellence (BBCE) in Riga, Latvia. The workshop was conducted within the framework of an EU-funded Horizon 2020 project (grant agreement No. 857287) and was organized in a hybrid format, coordinated by Marcela Arango and Dr. Zoya Hadzhieva. The first session was held online and featured invited speakers from academia and industry. Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini opened the event, followed by presentations from Dr. Fabian Westhauser (Regensburg University Medical Center), Mr. Rainer Kuth (Independent Expert and Advisor to the European Commission), Prof. Alessandro Del Vecchio (FAU), and Prof. Peter Felfer (FAU), who shared their experience in project writing and networking. The final two days of the workshop took place in presence in Riga and focused on gaining practical experience in writing successful research grant proposals.
