Kick-off meeting of our new DFG funded project in collaboration with University of Rostock
The kick-off meeting of our new DFG funded joint project with the group of Prof. Hermann Seitz at the Chair of Microfluidics, Universität Rostock, took place on 29th January online. In this project, with Prof. Boccaccini as Principal Investigator for FAU, we will collaborate with the researchers in Rostock on the fabrication and characterization of a new family of porous piezoelectric ceramic–bioactive glass composites for bone tissue engineering, bringing together expertise. The research will be led by Dr. Abdullah Riaz (Rostock) and Dr.-Ing. Qaisar Nawaz (Erlangen), who were key players in the preparation of the research proposal. We are looking forward to exciting research ahead!
