Dr. Julia López de Andrés and Ms Laura de Lara Peña (PhD student) from the Department of Human Anatomy and Embryology (Head: Prof. Juan Antonio Marchal Corrales), Faculty of Medicine, University of Granada, Spain, are visiting our Institute in the context of the secondment program of the RISE EU project EngVIPO (Engineering Vascularized Implants for Personalised Osteochondral Tissue Regeneration: From Medical Imaging to Pre-Clinical Validation). During their stay, Julia and Laura will be conducting research on advanced composite inks for the fabrication of a new generation of osteochondral tissue scaffolds. We wish them every success with their project and a pleasant and enjoyable stay in Erlangen!
