Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini was one of the organizers of the Topic 09: “Bioceramics” at the 101th Annual Meeting of the German Ceramic Society (DKG) which was held on Sep. 14 – Sep. 16, 2026, at University of Augsburg. Prof. Boccaccini presented the Keynote talk: “3D printed resorbabe scaffolds combining biopolymers and bioactive glass for bone regeneration”, a collaborative work with Ms. Marcela Arango Ospina and collaborators at UNSAM, Argentina in the frame of a DFG-CONICET joint research project. In addition, Ms Andrada Damian-Buda (PhD student) presented in the same session the talk: “Modifying mesoporous bioactive glass nanoparticles to tailor particle-cell interactions”.
