Processing and characterisation of bioactive nanofibres

Dr. Shahin Homaeigohar is an assistant professor (lecturer) of Biomedical Engineering at University of Dundee (UoD), United Kingdom. Before joining UoD, he was a Marie Curie (MSCA) postdoctoral fellow at the nstitute of Biomaterials, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, where he is currently spending a research visit. His present research topic is development of biohybrid nanofiber mats for wound dressing. In this research, he aims to benefit from the synergy of synthetic and natural polymers (proteins and polypeptides) in favor of wound healing and wound disinfection.
