Biological evaluation of hydroxyapatite patches for oral applications

This work focuses on the development and biological evaluation of hydroxyapatite microneedle patches for oral applications. These microneedles are fabricated using Digital Light Processing (DLP) at University of Aveiro. The work aims to assess the suitability of these structures for interaction with gingival tissues, with the broader goal of contributing to minimally invasive drug delivery and gingival healing solutions. This visit to the FAU Institute of Biomaterials is being developed with the support of the JECS Trust ( https://www.jecstrust.org/ ) of the European Ceramic Society.
