Focus Issue published in Journal of the Electrochemical Society

The Journal of the Electrochemical Society (JES) Focus Issue on Electrophoretic Deposition, co-edited by Prof. Jay H. Dickerson (Center for Functional Nanomaterials, Brookhaven National Laboratory, and Department of Physics, Brown University, Providence, USA) and Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini, has been recently published. This focus issue of JES was inspired by the research reported during presentations at the Fifth International Conference on Electrophoretic Deposition: Fundamentals and Applications (EPD-2014) held in Schloss Hernstein, Austria, October 5-10, 2014, and chaired by Prof. Boccaccini, with additional contributions from prominent researchers involved in different aspects of the fundamentals and applications of EPD worldwide. Included in this Focus Issue is the paper “Understanding Bioactive Glass Powder Suspensions for Electrophoretic Deposition of Bioactive Glass-Polymer Coatings “, co-authored by Dr. Sandra Cabanas-Polo and Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini [1].
