New EU Horizon 2020 project at the Institute of Biomaterials

The project AMITIE “Additive Manufacturing Initiative for Transnational Innovation in Europe” has been approved for funding by the EC under the Call “MSCA-RISE-2016 – Research and Innovation Staff Exchange“. AMITIE will promote fast technology transfer and will enable training of additive manufacturing (AM) experts from upstream research down to more technical issues. AMITIE will reinforce European capacities in the AM field applied to ceramic-based products through its extensive programme of transnational and intersectoral secondments. The project is coordinated by University of Limoges and involves 17 industrial and academic partners from six EU countries. Our Institute is involved in the work package dealing with bioactive ceramics and glasses. “The webpage of the EU (H2020) project AMITIE is available.”
