We welcome FunGlass researchers in Winter 2024
During the first half of 2024 we are hosting three researchers from the Department of Biomaterials of FunGlass Centre, Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín, Slovakia, including Mr Ertugrul Varlik, PhD student co-supervised by Dr. Ing. Martin Michálek (FunGlass) and Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini (FAU). He is working on advanced manufacturing of 3D scaffolds using solid, hollow and mesoporous bioactive glass microspheres. We also host our alumni Dr. Nurshen Mutlu and Dr. Fatih Kurtuldu, post-doctoral researchers at FunGlass Centre. They will work on projects related to ion doped bioactive glasses and composites. The visiting researchers are collaborating with Dr. Irem Unalan, Dr. Qaisar Nawaz and Ms Marcela Arango-Ospina. We wish them a productive time in Erlangen!
