Special issue published
The special issue: “ICCM-17: Composites in Biomedical Applications” in Composites Science and Technology has been now published: Composites Science and Technology, Volume 70, Issue 13, Pages 1763-2032.
This special issue was co-edited by Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini and Prof. Joao F. Mano (University of Minho, Portugal). The 19 papers published in this issue were selected from high quality contributions presented at the 17th International Conference on Composite Materials (ICCM-17). held in Edinburgh, Scottland (UK) in July 2009. The papers cover a broad variety of topics reflecting the numerous applications of composite materials in the fields of tissue engineering, biopoplymer/ceramic nanocomposites and biomimetic materials.
