Visits from Brazil
Prof. Luismar Marques Porto, Associate Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Florianopolis, Brazil, one of the leading academic and research institutions in Brazil, is visiting our Institute. He is affiliated with the Integrated Technologies Laboratory at UFSC.
In collaboration with Prof. Boccaccini he is working on the project: Modeling of Advanced Tissue Engineering Scaffolds.
As first visiting student from UFSC, Ms Camila Schroeder is visiting our Institute as well. She is carrying out a project on “organic-inorganic composites for tissue engineering and drug delivery” under supervision of Dr. J. Bortuzzo and Profs. Marques Porto and Boccaccini.
