Visit from Chile
Prof. Humberto Palza, Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, University of Chile, Santiago, Chile and Mr Julian Bejarano Narvaez, PhD student at University of Chile, visited the Institute of Biomaterials on 2nd June 2014. Prof. Palza and Prof. Boccaccini are collaborating in a research project related to Cu-doping bioactive glasses, following previous research [1]. Julian will be a visiting PhD student at the Institute of Biomaterials for 5 months working on the angiogenic potential of Cu-doped bioactive glasses. (Click image to enlarge)
