EU project BioBone presentation
Ms Marta Gallo (pictured with Prof. Boccaccini), visiting PhD student from Department MATEIS, INSA Lyon, France, who is carrying out her doctoral thesis in the framework of the Marie Curie Initial Training Network (ITN) (FP7) “BIOBONE” presented the talk: “Degradation and cell culture studies on calcium phosphate bioceramics” at our seminars series on biomaterials. Marta spent several months in our Institute characterizing the degradation behaviour of CaP materials and the interaction with bone cells under supervision of Dr. R. Detsch and Prof. A. R. Boccaccini.
