The Society of Glass Technology Centenary Conference and European Society of Glass Science and Technology 2016 Conference “Glass – Back to the Future!” will be held in Sheffield, UK, on 4–8 September 2016. This event represents a special landmark in the history of glass science and technology, namely the Centenary of the Society of Glass Technology (UK), marking its 100th year. This conference is organised under the auspices of both the European Society of Glass and the Society of Glass Technology, and it will bring together researchers, technologists, practitioners, artists and students with interests in all aspects of glass. Prof. A. R. Boccaccini serves as member of the International Advisory Board of the Centenary Conference. The Call for Abstracts has been announced.
