Prof. Boccaccini invited speaker at Berlin-Brandenburg School of Regenerative Therapies symposium in Berlin

Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini was an invited speaker at the 8th Berlin-Brandenburg School of Regenerative Therapies (BSRT) symposium, which was held on 29th November to 1st December 2017 in Berlin. The symposium has been bestowed a superhero theme with the intention to unite scientists under the motto: RECOGNIZE, REPAIR, REGROW and PERSONALIZED BIOMEDICINE RISES. In the framework of this theme Boccaccini was Iron Man and he presented the talk: “Biomaterials to Support Regeneration”. Our Institute was also represented by Lukas Gritsch, Agata Lapa and Binh (Hana) Phan (pictured with Prof. Boccaccini), who presented results of their PhD projects being carried out in the framework of the EU Horizon 2020 funded ETN project HyMedPoly (“Drug-Free Antibacterial Hybrid Biopolymers for Medical Applications”). In the picture also Dr. Taimoor Qazi, former Master student of our Institute, currently at Charite Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
