Visit from the Netherlands
On 8th December we received the visit of Monica Echeverry-Rendon, PhD student from University of Antioquia (Medellin-Colombia) and University of Groningen, The Netherlands. She presented the seminar: “Development of Biodegradable Magnesium-Based Supports for Stem Cell Therapy of Vascular Disease”. Research on biodegradable Mg alloys is also important in our institute, in the framework of a DFG funded project, however focusing on bone tissue engineering and bioactive coatings.
