Dr. Kai Zheng awarded Emerging Talents Initiative (ETI) grant
Dr. Kai Zheng was awarded an “Emerging Talents Initiative” (ETI) grant of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, which is designed to support excellent postdoctoral researchers by providing them with an opportunity to develop scientific independence and establish themselves in their field of research. Dr. Zheng’s project involves the development of novel sol-gel derived bioactive glasses for wound healing applications. One area of research of Dr. Zheng is the interaction of bioactive glasses and proteins, as discussed in a recent review paper [1].
