The final scientific meeting of the EU (Horizon 2020) project “Mesoporous matrices for localized pH-triggered release of therapeutic ions and drugs (MOZART)”  (grant agreement 685872) took place at Polytechnic of Turin, Italy, on 16-17 October 2019, hosted by the project coordinator Prof. Chiara Vitale Brovarone (pictured with Prof. Boccacccini). Our Institute was a partner of this project in charge of the development and characterisation of ion doped mesoporous bioactive glass nanoparticles for bone regeneration and wound healing. Dr. Kai Zheng and Prof. Boccaccini attended the meeting (pictured with Dr. Sonia Fiorilli, Polytechnic of Turin, and Miguel Manzano, Complutense University Madrid). Our last paper in the framework of MOZART project was recently published [1].
