Seminar series at the Institute of Biomaterials: Dr. Elise Mele (Loughborough University) invited speaker
Dr. Elisa Mele, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Materials, Loughborough University, UK, was an invited speaker in our (remote) seminar series “Advances in Biomaterials”, held on 28th May 2020. Dr. Mele presented the lecture: “Porous materials for biomedical applications: from electrospinning to 3D printing”. Given the numerous areas of common research interest with Dr. Mele, specially in the field of polymer composites incorporating essential oils for tissue engineering and drug delivery, we are planning to establish research collaborations, exploiting the complementary expertise and experimental capabilities of our research groups.
