The review paper “Electrophoretic deposition of carbon nanotubes: recent progress and remaining challenges” [1],  has been published in Open Access mode in International Materials Reviews. This is a very comprehensive review of the literature in the field of electrophoretic deposition (EPD) of carbon nanotubes (CNTs), covering CNT suspensions for EPD, EPD deposit microstructure and properties as well as the wide range of applications of CNT structures obtained by EPD. The review was initiated by our alumni Dr Qiang Chen (currently at: Northwestern Polytechnical University, China), and Dr Muhammad Atiq Ur Rehman (currently at Institute of Space Technology, Pakistan), and in collaboration with Prof. Annabel Braem (KU Leuven, Belgium) and Prof. Milo Shaffer (Imperial College London). Prof. Boccaccini said: “I am glad that we managed to complete this complete review paper as a timely contribution to the field and it is published in a top journal. The paper follows our previous review article on the subject published in Carbon in 2006 [2]”. (Image: Fig. 1 from ref.  [1]).
