Successful online training in the framework of the EU project BBCE

Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini and Dr. Liverani were the organizers of the external training session on “Controlled release technology: delivery systems for pharmaceuticals and other agents”, which was held remotely on 2-4 November 2020 in the framework of the program of training activities of the Baltic Biomaterials Centre of Excellence (BBCE) . Researchers from all partner institutions in Latvia attended the sessions, in addition to participants from the international partners AO Research Institute Davos (Switzerland) and FAU Institute of Biomaterials (Biomat-FAU). BBCE project´s main objective is to establish a joint Baltic Biomaterials Centre of Excellence for advanced biomaterials development based on the long-term strategic cooperation between ARI, Biomat-FAU and Lavian institutions (RTU RBIDC, LIOS, RSU and RSU IS). It has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 857287. We thank all speakers for their inspiring talks and support of this training activity.
