Collaborative Research Centre – CRC/SFB 1270 “Electrically Active Implants (ELAINE) approved by the DFG for a second funding period

The Senate and Approval Committee for Collaborative Research Centers (SFB) of the German Research Foundation (DFG) in the meeting held on May 20-21, 2021 approved*a second funding period of the Collaborative Research Center SFB 1270 “Electrically Active Implants” –ELAINE* . SFB 1270 ELAINE is based at University of Rostock and Rostock University Medical Center and our Institute is one of the external partners collaborating in the field of electrically active biomaterials for cartilage and bone regeneration. Recent papers from our collaboration with the Rostock colleagues within project B01 (co-principal investigator Prof. Hermann Seitz, Chair of Microfluidics, University of Rostock), led from our Institute’s side by PhD student Thomas Distler, are listed below.
