Visit of Prof. H. Jain, Director of the International Materials Institute for New Functionality in Glass (USA)
Prof. Himanshu Jain, T.L. Diamond Distinguished Chair in Engineering and Applied Science and Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Lehigh University, USA visited our Institute on Friday, 18th March. Prof. Jain is also Director of the NSF’s International Materials Institute for New Functionality in Glass . We discussed collaborations in the field of bioactive glasses for biomedical applications and the participation of our Institute in the research and exchange activities of the Int. Mater. Institute for New Functionality in Glass.
