Visit from The Netherlands

Dr. Chris Arts and Ms Nicole A. P. van Gestel, MSc (PhD student) from Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Maastricht UMC+ and Prof. Sandra Hofmann-Boss from Department of Biomedical Engineering, Technical University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands, pictured with Dr. R. Detsch and Prof. A. R. Boccaccini, visited our Institute on 20th July 2015. We discussed common research interests in the field of bioactive glasses as antibacterial and angiogenic materials following previous results of our Institute on bioactive glass S53P4 [1].
