Prof. Boccaccini visits AGH Krakow, Poland
On 1st September 2015, Prof. Boccaccini visited the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics, Department of Silicate Chemistry and Macromolecular Compounds at AGH University of Science and Technology, in Krakow, Poland, in particular the FTIR spectroscopy laboratory, which is led by Prof. Marciej Sitarz. There are common areas of research interests between the laboratory and the Institute of Biomaterials at FAU, specifically in the field of bioactive glasses and their characterization. A research collaboration and the exchange of researchers and students are planned. (Click image to enlarge)
