ReBioStent meeting in Heidelberg
The latest progress meeting of the EU project ReBioStent (Reinforced Bioresorbable Biomaterials for Therapeutic Drug Eluting Stents) took place on 5-6 November 2015 in Heidelberg, Germany, at the premises of Eurescom one of the consortium partners. Doctoral researcher Elena Boccardi (pictured with Dr. Rocio Ortiz, IK4-Tekniker, Spain, and Prof. Boccaccini) attended this project meeting together with Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini, who is the leader of Work Package 3 dealing with biodegradable composites. The meeting reviewed the consortium’s advances in the development of biomaterials with suitable properties for the intended applications in drug eluting stents. (Click images to enlarge)
