The Third CoACH Workshop and the academic board meeting of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie European Training Network “Advanced glasses, Composites And Ceramics for High growth industries” (CoACH) was held on 13-17 November 2017 at Université de Rennes 1 (UR1) (a partner university of FAU), Rennes, France. PhD students Nicoletta Toniolo, Francesca Ciraldo and Rocio Tejido-Rastrilla (pictured with Prof. Boccaccini) attended the meeting and presented the latest results of their projects. Prof. Boccaccini chaired the session “WP1: Glasses, and composites for HEALTH care industries” and presented an overview of the progress of the research activities of the project at the Institute of Biomaterials. A recent paper co-authored by Ms Nicoletta Toniolo and Prof. Boccaccini has been published [1]. Prof. Boccaccini is pictured also with Prof. Federico Smeacetto, Department of Applied Science and Technology, Polytechnic of Turin, Italy. We collaborate with Prof. Smeacetto within the CoACH consortium in the field of electrophoretic deposition for SOFCs.
