The Master thesis of Ms Sonja Kuth in the field of 3D printing and characterization of oxidized alginate-gelatin hydrogels for cartilage repair has been completed in collaboration with the group of Prof. Gundula Schulze-Tanzil at Institute of Anatomy, Paracelsus Medical University (PMU), Salzburg and Nuremberg. We plan further collaborations with the PMU group in the field of 3D printing and biofabrication of hydrogels for cartilage repair, which was discussed during a visit of Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini and members of the Institute of Biomaterials (Dr. R. Detsch, Mr. T. Distler and Ms S. Kuth) to PMU on 3rd July 2019. Our most recent paper in collaboration with Prof. Gundula Schulze-Tanzil and her team has been recently published [1].
