On 12-16 November 2019 we received the visit of Dr. Magdalena M. Stevanovic, Principal Research Fellow at Institute of Technical Sciences of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Belgrade, Serbia. Dr. Stevanovic presented the lecture “Polyester micro- and nanosized systems for controlled drug delivery and other biomedical applications”. She held meetings with different members of the Institute of Biomaterials and visited the laboratories. We have a long standing collaboration with Dr. Stevanovic [1] and have planned a new project on nanomaterials for drug delivery, joining the complementary expertises of both research groups.
