Prof. Boccaccini gives invited talk at London Materials Society (LMS)

On 11th February 2021, Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini was an invited speaker at the London Materials Society (LMS) the London branch of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3). He presented the talk entitled: “Bioactive materials and biofabrication for tissue engineering: progress and challenges”. Prof. Boccaccini dedicated the talk to the memory of Prof. Larry Hench, the inventor of bioactive glass, in the year in which the community marks the 50th anniversary of bioactive glass, discovered by L. Hench in 1971 [1]. Prof. Boccaccini is an international member of the LMS Council.
