Strong participation of our Institute at ESB 2023 conference in Davos, Switzerland
Our Institute had a very active participation at the 33rd Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB 2023), held on 4-8 September 2023 in Davos, Switzerland. Nineteen members of the Institute (PhD students, post-docs) contributed with posters and oral presentations. Prof. Boccaccini was the co-chair of the symposium: “Biologically active ion releasing biomaterials for tissue engineering”, which attracted a lot of interest. Moreover several other posters were presented in collaboration with researchers from other institutions, e.g. in the framework of the EU projects BBCE and FunGlasss. Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini attended the General Assembly of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB) on 7th September as member of the ESB council and as vice-president of ESB. It was nice to meet also our former PhD students, Dr. Katharina Schuhladen and Dr. Lena Vogt.
