Visit of Prof. Assist. Yongcong Fang, Tsinghua University, China
On 25-26 April, we received the visit of Assist. Professor Yongcong Fang, member of the BRE Lab and affiliated with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University, China. Hosted by Dr. Rainer Detsch, Prof. Fang visited the laboratories of the Institute of Biomaterials and discussed with Dr. Detsch and PhD students in the TRR225 Collaborative Research Center Jonas Roeder and Hsuan-Heng areas of overlapping research interest in the fields of biofabrication and tissue engineering. Prof. Fang presented the lecture “3D Printing of Complex Ventricle Models for Regenerative Medicine”. Prof. Fang was a visiting researcher in our Institute in 2016-2017.
